One of the newest additions to the G-Shock family, the innovative G7900 features a unique four-point protection structure. This new structure prevents direct impacts to the watch face through a series of 4 screws on the bezel. Opposite the watch face, the case back is protected by curved apertures which also lend to an ergonomic fit. Utilizing the largest side buttons in G-Shock history, which are deeply grooved, operability, even with gloves was easily achieved. As with all G-Shocks, Shock and Water Resistance are a given, but what’s inside the G7900 is not. The newly developed rescue concept has tide/moon graphs and 1,000 hour stopwatch enhanced by a low temperature LCD (-20C/-4F) for stable performance under harsh conditions.
