THE STORE“Premium has nine stores across Apkujung, Myungdong, Hongdae, Busan Namcheon and Daegu Dongsungro.
“We’re part of the Kasina group and opened our first store in 1997. The vision for the company is to try to lead street culture in Korea, not just selling shoes and apparel - but a whole way of life.”
THE PUMP20 PRODUCT“Our shoe features the colours red and blue. The red is the inspiration for our company name ‘Kasina’ and also signifies aggression and passion.
The blue represents the Emerald Sea. The first Kasina store was very close to the sea and I also grew up living near water, so the blue represents where Kasina is really from.
“We avoided using patterns or complicated designs and instead chose three different types of leather to emphasize the red. We then used a small amount of the emerald colour to avoid the colour looking too heavy.
“The shoe also features a hand written version of our logo.”
