THE STORE “Saint Alfred opened its doors in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood in August of 2005 and it soon became a destination for locals and tourists due to the unique concept and feel.
“With a build-out using a variety of materials including cast-iron, steel, wood and brass, a unique ambience was achieved and the Saint Alfred concept was born.”
THE PUMP20 PRODUCT “We wanted to pay tribute to Chicago’s industrial heritage, specifically its ironworks.
“With the PUMP being one of the 1980’s most iconic footwear silhouettes we thought it would be interesting to incorporate the aesthetic of a work-boot with the technology of a high-performance basketball shoe.”
